Sample Itinerary
Enjoy a tranquil start to the celebration where the wedding party arrives the day before the special day to set up and enjoy the natural beauty of Gilwell. The late afternoon or the following morning provides a lovely opportunity for private pre-wedding photos in the forest or by the Lochan. Towards the end of the day, the wedding party have a relaxed fairy-light BBQ.
The wedding day begins with a casual breakfast and a relaxed morning to get ready and finish any final setup. Guests arrive, park, and check in if staying overnight.
The ceremony takes place in the bush chapel in the late morning. Afterward, everyone gathers in the Hoadley Precinct for a reception with lunch, speeches, and time to celebrate.
Dancing, music, and good vibes in the afternoon and evening before guests staying the night enjoy a campfire under the stars – a unique and memorable way to conclude the special day before guests retire to their huts, lodges or glamping tents.
Start the day with a delicious recovery breakfast, giving everyone a chance to unwind and enjoy the morning. Afterward, guests can partake in a guided nature walk, archery, canoeing session or Ninja Warrior course. For those who want to soak in more of the surroundings, staying an extra night is a great way to continue the peaceful escape before heading home.
